History
L.A. Medical was founded in 1993 as a manufacturer of surgical instruments.
Most of its know how was acquired in the by one of its founders.
In 1999 the company moved to a modernized facility equipped with the latest technology and environmental protecting equipment.
In 2000, L.A. Medical was certified by SGS Portugal according to NP EN ISO 9001:1995 and EN 46001:1996 standards.
In 2002 the company began manufacturing Instrumental for Arthroplasty of the Hip and Knee.
Presently, our company is certified according to NP EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 13485 standards.
